Alisa Cojocar

Alisa is originally from Moldova and has been living in Scotland for the last 8 years. She graduated from University of Moldova and worked as a nursery teacher in Bender, Moldova. Alisa speaks fluently Romanian and Russian languages.

She loves volunteering because she can meet and work with individuals from all walks of life, offering language support and guidance to help them integrate and build better life.

In addition to volunteering with Forth Valley Migrant Support Network, Alisa also is a mother of two boys, aged 12 and 3, and a full-time student in Forth Valley College. In her free time she likes  reading books, cooking and travelling with her family.
