Originally from Poland, Katarzyna has been living in Scotland since August 2008. She is an Edinburgh University graduate and works as Carers Social Care Officer with Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership. 

Katarzyna has been volunteering with Forth Valley Migrant Support Network since 2015, providing casework, language and peer support to her Polish fellow country women and men. In 2021, she became a member of the Management Committee. In May 2024, she was elected as a Chairperson to work along with the newly elected and returning Committee members to build upon the successes of the past and to fulfil the organisation’s mission to support and represent the diverse migrant community across Falkirk District area. 

Katarzyna loves spending time with her family the most. She also likes gardening and DIY projects around her house.
